Implants

A dental implant is a replacement for a missing tooth. Unlike removable dentures, implants are PERMANENT and blend right into your smile.

Here are a few benefits of dental implants:

  • Improved appearance. Feel confident in your own smile!

  • Easier to eat and speak because they function like your own teeth!

  • Durability! Dental implants last many years and when taken care of properly, they can last a lifetime!

Here are a few benefits of dentures:

  • Confidence! Restore your smile back to its original appearance.

  • Restore the ability to properly chew and speak.

  • Dentures are built to last! A set of dentures is good for five to ten years.

Bridges

Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or several missing teeth. A bridge restores your bite and helps keep the natural shape of your face.A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap. These anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth and will have a false tooth in between. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.

Crowns

A dental crown is a tooth shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth. The crown restores the tooth to its normal shape, size, and function.

When is a dental crown necessary?

• You have a cavity that is too large for a filling.

• You have a tooth that is cracked or worn down.

• You need a root canal treatment. A crown is used to protect the restored tooth.

• You want to improve your smile by covered up a discolored or misshaped tooth.
